Hacktivist Group Anonymous Raises Security, Privacy Concerns

In honour of Guy Fawkes Day, Hacktivist group Anonymous brought down a number of services over the weekend. Among the affected sites, NBC.com and its sister sites and ZPanel, with other sites recently compromised also being attributed to the hacktivist groups. Anonymous defaced the NBC website with the image below. The question comes forth: if the Internet is such a vulnerable place, is it wise to teach and house our information there?
