Education News: College Students Prefer Good Lectures to Tech

A recent survey of more than fifteen thousand students of higher education in Quebec concluded that students prefer a good lecture in class to the use of the latest technologies, though the percentage between those in favour and those not in favour is relatively small (53%). 1. I think I would agree, meeting in a traditional classroom is much more stress free. You do not have to worry about loosing internet connection during class time or keep up with a constant chat box while people are still talking. Traditional classes allow you to have interactions with classmates, teacher, and can monitor students attention with more ease. As a student I also find it more engaging. Interesting study.
