Moving Math Education Beyond the Basics

Conrad Wolfram presents a revolutionary approach to math education that focuses around trusting the technology we have to do the computation in math and turning our focus to posing the correct questions, finding the mathematical formulation to solve the problem and designing models to represent solutions. He asks why we take years teaching what technology can already do in seconds. Utilizing technology to it's full potential may be able to move calculus and physics to lower and lower grade levels as we trust the tools we have to perform their purposes and move on to the real world of mathematics.
